doodlekit™ advanced is a website dedicated to exploring the advanced features of website layouts and designs for the doodlekit™ website builder tool. It's targeted at web designers and advanced website users that want to alter their doodlekit™ layouts beyond the default designs that the website creator comes with.
To use the advanced website builder tools, you will need to have an extensive knowledge of CSS, HTML/XHTML, and graphics design. If you fit these criteria and feel that you can make your own website look better than we can, then this site is for you! Here you can share CSS code, layouts, designs, etc. with other advanced users.
But, be warned! Once you decide to build your own website by tweaking the CSS and uploading your own graphics, doodlekit™ will no longer support your website's layout! You will need to be careful doing this because it is easy to mess up yours site's look and feel. Not to worry too much though... you can always take out your custom code and go back to the default layout. And don't fret about your content... changing your layout will not alter your data in any way.

Question: I'm a front-end CSS and HTML/XHTML web developer and I don't know anything about backend code, databases, or hosting. Will I have to learn anything about these to create websites for my customers? Answer: No, doodlekit™ right out of the box will probably do most (if not all) of the things your customer's will request. However, we know that all customers have unique needs, and ifdoodlekit™ does not do exactly what you want it to, you can contact one of our doodlebit representatives and they will schedule a meeting/phone call to gather your requirements and present you with a price to custom develop what you need. |
Question: Is there an extra charge involved to use doodlekit™ to create and sell my own custom websites? Answer: No, doodlekit™ has standard price plans it charges all of its customers. If you create a custom website for a customer and charge them$1000 for design and an extra $10 dollars a month for hosting, that is your business. All you need to do is pay the standard price for your plan each month to doodlekit. Any extra billing you want charge your customer is between you and them. |
